God tells Moses to take his sandals off. Taking off one's sandals signifies, first, becoming a servant to someone. And second, renewing one's mind and body. Sandals are stained with dirt with places that a person has gone and works he has done. But when by taking them off, he has let go of whatever he did in the past. </span><br /><br /><br /><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-ascii-font-family:¹ÙÅÁ" lang="EN-US"></span><span lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">As christians, one of the most important realization for us is to have an on-going relationship with God. Are you walking with God? We must ask ourselves daily. It is easy to become depressed when we compare ourselves to others and the world. But we must realize what</span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-ascii-font-family: ¹ÙÅÁ" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">¡¯</span></span><span lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">s important is holding on to and not letting loose of our relationship with God. </span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-ascii-font-family:¹ÙÅÁ" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">¡°</span></span><span lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. (Exodus 2:12)</span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-ascii-font-family: ¹ÙÅÁ" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;">¡±</span></span><span lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Arial;"> Even though Moses has an ugly past, that is not what God sees from Moses.
